How accurate is the bid data on BidsNexus? +
BidsNexus aggregates bid data from publicly available government sources including SAM.gov, state procurement portals, and local government websites. We process and refresh this data continuously throughout the day. However, because bid data originates from hundreds of separate government systems, there can be a delay between when an agency updates a solicitation and when that change appears on BidsNexus. We always recommend verifying final bid details — especially deadlines and specifications — directly with the issuing agency through official channels before submitting a bid response.
How do I cancel or change my subscription? +
You can manage your subscription directly from your account settings after logging in. To cancel, go to Account > Subscription > Cancel Plan. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain full access until then. To change plans, select "Change Plan" in your account settings. If you need help with billing or encounter any issues, email us at support@bidsnexus.com and we will assist you within one business day.
What sources does BidsNexus aggregate bids from? +
BidsNexus aggregates opportunities from SAM.gov (federal solicitations), USASpending.gov, the Federal Register, Grants.gov, all 50 state procurement portals, thousands of city and county purchasing offices, DoD and military contracting channels, and GSA eBuy. We are continuously adding new sources. Visit our Data Sources page for a complete list of the procurement portals we monitor.
How do smart alerts work, and how quickly are they sent? +
Smart alerts let you define criteria — keywords, NAICS codes, states, bid types, and minimum contract value — and we notify you whenever a new matching opportunity is posted. Alert notifications are sent by email as soon as a matching bid is ingested into our system, which typically happens within hours of the original government posting. Pro and Enterprise plan users receive real-time alerts; Free plan users receive daily digest emails. You can configure and manage your alerts from the Alerts section after logging in.
Is my business and search data kept private? +
Yes. Your business profile, NAICS codes, search history, saved bids, and alert configurations are private to your account. BidsNexus does not sell your personal data to third parties, does not share your business profile with competitors or other users, and does not use your data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
